When the gold and dollar-smuggling and corrupt Kerala Marxist Administration is hurt, it is the Face Book-Kerala that is pained! The said Marxist Party in Kerala, especially its autocratic leader and the state chief minister Mr. P. Vijayan, was hurt most when on 4 June 2024 the results of the Parliament elections of India were declared and it was known that they had lost 19 seats out of 20 in Kerala for the second time while he was in power, and in a series of events to follow within a week, the self-propagated belief that he is indefatigable, unfaltering and undefeatable was shattered for the second time (the first was in 2019 when also he got only one seat out of twenty in his own state), party elements from the lower ranks to those higher in the state committee of the party began raising voices against him publicly even through media and in public meetings, their foremost and most popular online social media groups and individuals turned against and withdrew their support after criticizing that his corruption led to this devastating defeat in the election and accusing him of nepotism.
Finding no other way of defending themselves before the public and the members of the party, and also not willing and plain enough to take responsibility on themselves, the state committee of the party and the chief minister, in the person of their state committee member, Kannur District Secretary and erstwhile political secretary of Mr. Vijayan in his government Sri. M. V. Jayarajan, accused that the media had nothing to do with it but it were the social media that led to the absolute defeat of the government and the party and its ruling alliance, the supposedly Left and supposedly Democratic Front in the election. They, in a public meeting through him, also accused without any evidence whatsoever that they, i.e. these social media groups, pages and individuals, were bought for a price by some interested parties. And on the backdrop of all these events, accusations, and retaliations, arrived the meeting of the state committee of the party at Trivandrum on the second week of June 2024- a very volatile and explodable situation indeed for the person and the team put on spotlight by everyone.
Any more adverse criticism, reference, remarks or even articles and posts from the social media that would weaken the position of the particular leader and his family and his team had to be avoided at any cost during the days before the committee met and this assignment fell on their long-time cahoots in Face Book-Kerala who had been doing this for a long time since 2016. They are wont to bribe but for a time no one would be certain whether it was the whole team or the whole office. And they acted promptly whether it violates the freedom of expression of opinions in India or not.
Face Book-Kerala is in utter confusion, disgrace and under prosecution. On one side they are collaborating with the anti-Indian elements in the Communist Party of India-Marxist in Kerala. On the other side their collaboration with these elements is coming out, leading to police investigations, court cases and people’s accusations. They were questioned on Court’s orders and their Nodal Officer is an accused in a case of inciting communal riots in the state for the favour of the Marxist Party in the recent Parliament Elections. In the Vadakara Constituency the Indian National Congress’ candidate was its most popular and most secular young leader- a Muslim by birth. The opponent was Marxist Party’s one of the senior-most leaders- a former state minister of theirs. A post supposedly by a Muslim League member named Kassim was created by the Marxist Party and shared and circulated by its former Kuttyadi MLA K. K. Lathika, in which it was said that the Congress’ young man was a Muslim and the opponent was a Kafir, an insinuation clearly intended to position the Congress candidate who was a Muslim in a fix. He protested and complained to the Election Commission and the Police. Eventually the reluctant police had to investigate and submitted a report in court that the said Kassim was not involved in creating this post and that it was one fabricated and circulated in his name. The Face Book in spite of repeatedly being asked refused to remove this post and kept it in circulation for the Marxist elements for the most possible number of days to help the Marxist Party in fanning the anger of the Hindu community. Now the Face Book’s Nodal Officer is inducted in this case. Face Book-India is still claiming impartiality and non-alignment!
On 22 August 2023 also the Kerala Police had registered a criminal case against the Nodal Officer of Face Book-India for not removing vulgar pictures posted on the page of a woman psychiatrist in Trivandrum by a hacker. Though the law stipulates that such pictures must be removed within 36 hours upon official request, he kept it running even after one week. Notice under section 79 of the Information Technology Act was issued to Meta Platforms, Inc., a criminal case was registered against the Face Book Nodal Officer, and proceedings for arresting him were started.
