If the idea of Kerala having its own railway had been brought up by someone other than the present pseudo-Marxist chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan, then there would have been discussions and public debates in Kerala about how it could be implemented without causing environmental damage, without making tens of thousands of people evicted from their homes, without displacing them from their own land, homes and villages, without destroying the state's economic situation for the next twenty-seven years, and without any corruption or embezzlement of the treasury like the initial preliminary planning steps supposedly taken under his leadership which made over five hundred crores of rupees disappear from the treasury!
But because he is its promoter, sponsor and benefactor, none of this happened. Not only that, but the revelation and realization that he, the Prime Minister of the Central BJP Narendra Modi, the Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, and many foreign financial gangs are involved in this anti-national and anti-people construction scam also spread among the people. In just a few days of agitation, with the help of many knowledgeable rail technicians and organizations like the NGO, Kerala Sastra Sahitya Parishad, Kerala washed its hands of this gigantic dream project and did away with it, rendering it existing only in the words of Pinarayi Vijayan, Narendra Modi, Gadkari and the Kerala’s vacillating Governor Arif Mohammed Khan.
Kerala is not opposed to the construction of a port in Vizhinjam, but when Kerala came to know that this man was the one pushing it forward, the acquired people's land and the donated public government land behind it would be in the hands of the Adani- Pinarayi Vijayan- Narendra Modi Combines with private purchase and sale control powers, and even the construction of artificial islands on the shores of the beautiful Arabian sea and inside the sea would end up in the hands of foreign hostile forces as real estate in strategic locations, all the coastal residents of Kerala, led by the fishermen's organizations, took to the streets and protested, making it an important national debate issue that no one could ignore. The environmental issues that no one can ignore were clearly imprinted on the public. Those three money-grubbing thugs, who ignored that and went ahead, are now sitting at home, facing international criticism and backlash that is about to destroy it’s promoter Adani's financial empire.
