Will world countries care if democracy and secularism say farewell to India?

World countries care not if democracy says farewell to India. Why should they? They are not democratic countries mostly anyway. Pakistan, Iran and many other countries concerned with Indian matters are fundamentalistically Islamic. They will want India to become totally undemocratic and if possible fundamentalistically Hinduistic so that theirs would be justified. India remaining a democratic country is a challenge to China because their totalitarianist communism fades in the presence of India’s democracy as a humane ruling system. So they naturally want Indian democracy to go so that theirs will thrive and remain in limelight. India’s long-lost ally Russia is now a mafiatic communist totalitarianist country which thinks nothing better of than the ways to prompt and make India a vassal state with no democracy so that their sin of washing down communism with a mug of Mafiosi would be obscured by the shocking news that India has become a non-democratic state. The only other countries which still boast of democracy and have contacts with and influence over India are America, Britain and France.

2

America was the first proper democracy in the modern world. Britain has stringent democracy laws and proceedings. France was once the by-name for fraternity and freedom. But does anyone anymore consider the American Presidents, the French Presidents or the British Prime Ministers as democrats? In fact, does anyone ever consider the presidents and prime ministers of any of these many countries mentioned here great democrats? Note that these three countries of America, Britain and France are arms manufacturers. Their relationships with India are now purely based on weapons manufacturing, selling and purchasing, not on any democratic sympathies. In fact, they are now being guided by the prospect of an undemocratic or even a fascist India purchasing more weapons from them in the near future. They are gradually changing their arms and foreign policies accordingly. It very much seems a fundamentalistically Hinduistic India existing side by side with a fundamentalistically Islamic Pakistan across the border is their dream, to serve their purpose if come true.

3

That was why America, Britain and France which were very anxious in every way to keep democracy in Hong Kong did not say a word of protest or condemnation when worthless lives in India suddenly rise up and call for Hindu nation. The most recent was one Sankaracharya of Puri who wanted India to be declared Hindu nation immediately, i.e. before he dies and goes to hell or heaven, so that he would be appointed the Chief Consultant for how to running a Hindu nation! He is too blind and selfish even to become unHinduistic to frankly admit like a saint the fact that there is no democracy or secularism in ancient or modern Indian Hinduism. There are so many other low lifes who openly defy the Indian democracy and the Constitution of India whom neither the Government of India is capable enough to arrest nor the Supreme Court of India alert enough to try- all still being advertised as proof of Indian democracy’s power and the freedom of speech it guarantees! Most of such Hindu religious yelpings come out of Indian parliament members who sworn in in the name of Indian democracy and the Indian constitution and none finds it inappropriate or a crime on their part to proclaim publicly that they would topple democracy and overthrow the constitution to bring in a Hindu corporatocracy. These three ‘namesake democracies’ of America, Britain and France which raised hell in the small island nation of Hong Kong did not see anything untoward going on in the big landmass of India.

4

So the end result is no country in the world wants India to remain democratic or care if democracy says farewell to India or not, even while the Indians thinking the world is anxious about the future of democracy in India and is hoping India would keep democracy safe for them. The fact is no one except Indians care about the survival of democracy in India. And do these world countries care for India’s secularism? Yes, they do. As almost all countries in this world are secular either by formation or by declaration and those countries almost all are tormented by the domestic demand by the dominant religious factions in their countries for recognizing them as the official religion, the administrations in these countries do wish to see India remain a secular state. It is not because any of these rulers are noble by birth or by bringing up to see secularism secured but because if India becomes a theocratic country their own countries’ secular stand would weaken and endanger their export and import future. As almost all nations today depend on market economy, becoming a religious country would be detrimental to the interests of their market economy and world trade- a situation Iran finds itself in today.

Ethiopia, Kenya, Congo, Madagascar, Nigeria, South Africa and even Uganda in Africa are secular countries either by formation or by declaration. China, India, Japan, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, Turkey and Vietnam in Asia are secular countries. Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Sweden in Europe are secular countries. In the North American and South American continents Canada, Cuba, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama and the United States of America, and Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Peru and Venezuela respectively are secular countries. The constitutions of Mexico and the United States even state that their parliaments cannot enact laws establishing or prohibiting any religion in future. They establish that their secularism is default by constitution and their parliaments can pass no laws to change this secularism as it is with India. Australia, the queen of the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean which is a secular commonwealth, also has this special clause built into their constitution, of prohibiting any future law-making to change this default secularism.

Argentina, Bangladesh, Finland, Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Norway, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Syria and Thailand are countries where one or other religion prevails but no body can overrule the secularist rights of their citizens. The United Kingdom is the only absurdity among these countries where Scotland, Ireland and Wales do not obey the official Church of England but have their own churches and are answerable only to the queen! But still the UK guarantees co-existence of all religions in their kingdom. The many countries mentioned here are not the only countries in the world where state has the sworn-in duty and responsibility to ensure secularism; they are also countries where Christianity or Islam or Buddhism or Judaism rule or try to impose themselves as the official religion. In a few countries which were secular on formation they succeeded in changing this. Those countries are Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq- the model nations India is now trying to imitate, after falling from the loftiness of being the leader and hope of all democratic and secular states in the world!
