Hindu fanatics’ blocking Asianet Channel aimed at blocking broad information spectrum to young Keralites

During the past two decades which channel were Keralites seeing in their drawing rooms? BBC? American? French? Or Asianet? In fact, which TV Channel taught Malayalis to view TV? Channels will come and go but some will stay. Some function for a year or two, collect huge amounts through share releases, cheat their depositors, and then skip and jump and vanish leaving behind a few police cases, but some stay for decades. Brigands who support these fakes in their share campaigns get arrested and get prosecuted as witnesses or co-conspirators. Kerala has seen this everyday, too often to guess which media channel will stay and which will go. Like people reading a single newspaper without reading between the lines, people viewing a single channel without occasionally looking at others go to a blind world shut out from the real world. When they get shattered in dreams by their only channel, they open every channel in the world available in their drawing room and go berserk.

Several recent social media posts during the Hindu fanatics’ struggle against women’s re-entry in Sabarimala Temple show that one particular pro-BJP cum pro-Hindu channel succeeded in blocking to its fanatic followers the broad information spectrum open to every other young men and girl in the country and abroad. They may even be aiming at blocking poor young men and girls who aim at appearing for IAS, IFS, IPS and IRS tests and trying to gather every kind of information and knowledge available free through prominent and time-tested news channels- a far-sighted move which may or may not be proved to be initiated and skillfully implemented by the high upper class rich to eliminate competition to their children.
