Ex-Kashmir governor Satyapal Malik's revelations pointing fingers at Narendra Modi as Prime Minister or the enemy of the country: It is good to remember that if you close your eyes, the realities in front of your eyes will not vanish!

Satyapal Malik was a loyalist of the BJP who was the governor of Jammu and Kashmir during the turbulent period of fourteen months from August 2018 to October 2019 and who witnessed the Pulwama terror attack in February 2019 and the bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir in the hands of the BJP in August 2019. He revealed a lot of things that he claimed he hid in his official capacity as governor for and to save the faces of the BJP Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the National Security Advisor of the BJP Ajit Doval, in an interview with Karan Thapar of The Wire. He gave the interview and revealed these things on the assumption and firm belief that though as a former governor, according to the Official Secrecy Act, he is obliged to keep many secrets, the corruptions and failures of the government are not official secrets, and he is not obligated to keep them.
Four years after the BJP government came to power in 2016, a time when the people throughout the country were boiling with anger in 2019 against the BJP government when BJP brought all the people’s money to banks from their homes through demonetization and digitization of all transactions, said they were liberally taken away by gangs who accessed them online by operating from even as far distant countries as Nigeria, and people began to suspect that if the two gangs weren’t the same, and the BJP and its prime minister stood worried and frightened as to how they could win the next elections held in less than a year, and if the people won’t detect they had donated and gifted what remained in banks as people’s money to the Reliance and Adani Corporations!
A car full of three hundred kilos of Cyclotrimethylin Nitramine with high explosive power known in different names as the Royal Demolition Explosive, the Research Department Explosive and in short RDX, surfaces in India near the India-Pakistan border which the top brass of the central BJP and the central security forces said were closed and sealed and not even a fly could pass through, and roams through the villages and towns of Kashmir which were said to be under constant and heavy security and strict surveillance and guarding and inspection for not less than twelve days in search of its target. On 14 February 2019, this car, which had been roaming around for two weeks, crashed through a side road into an army bus in the middle of a military convoy of 78 vehicles with 2500 soldiers that left Jammu at half past three in the morning and was moving through the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway 44 to reach Srinagar by sunset- one of the most foolish convoys in the history of the Indian Army, killing 40 soldiers instantly in that collision and explosion.
The highest number of soldiers killed was from Uttar Pradesh and the convoy had soldiers from the states from Rajasthan to Kerala too- soldiers from sixteen states. Although the incident took place generally in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama District, it happened exactly at a place called Latapura, a famous saffron-growing center and educational hub (22 schools- the old Lalit Pura!) on the banks of the Jhelum River, 21 km from Srinagar on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. It was not a foreigner who was also killed in the blast but a young man who was a native of this Latapura.
The next day, on 15 February 2019, answering the natural question of how is a terrorist born and how he forms a grudge and why he develops animosity towards the Indian Army, the international media, including Reuters, reported that had that terrorist when he was a boy on the way from school had not been caught with his friends and beaten up and rubbed his nose on the road by the Indian Army, saying the boy pelted stones at them, this untoward incident later would not have happened. It was one of the former governor’s questions too- isn't it Delhi that decides the policies and runs the affairs of Kashmir from afar created the terrorists?
When while receiving warnings continuously for several days that there would be a terrorist attack on Indian soldiers, on a road 266 kilometers long with 12 intersections where byroads join and without keeping a single person anywhere on road for surveillance and security, will anyone plan and organize a military vehicle road convoy of this length with 2500 soldiers and a 16 hour duration rather than airlifting them, except for deliberately subjecting them to a terrorist attack on the way? That was why people said on that day that this was a betrayal of the nation by Modi and BJP to win the next election.
It was revealed that the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh had been asked for five helicopters to fly the soldiers safely, but they were not given. Not because helicopters weren't available or because they aren't normally used to drop troops- just to leave the troops open for terrorist attack! His job is Bharatiya Janata Party’s Union Homeland Security Minister!!
The National Investigation Agency ruled on the same day that it was impossible for this much and this type of explosives to cross the border and it was organized in-house. The same was said in their charge sheet filed in August 2020- that the source of which was yet to be identified. But, in spite of these details coming out, unable to finish the political move that they got started, BJP ordered troops on 26 February 2019 to enter Pakistan with warplanes and attack Balakot, and made a political gain to win the next election. Pakistan rulers also secured the same political gain- as if the politicians from both countries played together. The governments in both countries won the elections- the one on account of attacking Balakot, and the other in the name of resisting the attack on Balakot- mutual understanding and tacit agreement! The Army Chief of Staff, immediately after the revelations of the former Governor came out condemned this, after his retirement in April 2023 of course, and confessed that it was Narendra Modi and the BJP government responsible, meaning it was not a military decision but a political decision.
Until 2016 when the Bharatiya Janata Party came to power in India the activists and terrorists in Kashmir were mainly foreigners, including those from Pakistan. Political Kashmir, which had been fuming and simmering till then, was filled with home-grown extremists and terrorists with the rise of this ultra-Hinduist communal party to power. It is clear that this was because India has created a government that the people of Kashmir have no faith in. The number of Kashmiri youth diametrically opposed and clashing with the army has increased. Many of them became even suicidal killers and human bombs. In the years 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019, there have been many clashes between these insurgents and the army. The international media say that the Pakistan army and the Pakistan government both of them were getting weaker due to the tug of war between them all these years.
Both the Government of Pakistan and the Pakistan Army thus lost the ability to launch attacks against India. As it is such, in this way, the fingers of blame in the Pulwama attack of 2019 turned towards the Government of India itself instead of turning towards the Government of Pakistan as had been in earlier times. But then there were no evidences and revelations at that time, though many predicted they will sure come out someday, but for the first time in 2023, it came from the very person who was the National Vice President of the BJP itself and their own governor in Kashmir. The former governor said that fifty percent of the total trouble in Kashmir is the trouble in Kashmir and fifty percent is the trouble in Delhi, which decides the policies and runs the affairs of Kashmir from a distance.
To make those two governments, the total cost of these two governments was 300 kilos of RDX and one car and the lives of forty Indian soldiers in Pulwama and the lives of many Pakistani soldiers in Balakot! Now after four years, what the revelations and evidence coming out in this way through a head of state who has the most credibility and trustworthiness in these matters say is that that was what the two nation heads planned and organized these two attacks in Pulwama and Balakot for, without the knowledge of the people- two administrations who are jointly carrying out terrorist activities in the name of Islam and Hinduism to win the elections!
If asked if the Prime Minister was aware of it, or even involved in it, it is as like his political serf and dependent Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan who ruled intelligence, vigilance, police and crime branch departments for four years says he did not know the whole people around him in his office were going abroad and smuggling gold and dollar, the Prime Minister Modi who had the Central Intelligence, the Research and Analysis Wing and the Military Intelligence under his control for more years trying to explain away that he knew nothing. What kind of Prime Ministers and Chief Ministers are these? That Kerala Chief Minister even said that he didn't even know dollar sacks were taken from his home and were accompanying him abroad in his own trips!
Regarding the death of forty soldiers in the terrorist attack in Pulwama, what the former Governor of Kashmir has revealed is that the Prime Minister is being fed with half-information, misinformation and lies about various matters, including matters that directly affect national security and foreign relations. To whom do they give the full knowledge then- to Reliance and Adani and Pakistan? The information that has come out regarding this is that it was to Pakistan which planned and implemented this operation that the Indian officials gave more information than to their Prime Minister Modi. Now they themselves say that the complete information about the movement of troops was in the hands of the terrorists and nothing was in the hands of the Prime Minister. Why and how did the kingdom hand him over? What gave the country? Why and how it happened that this country handed over to him?
What the former governor Satya Pal Malik told The Wire was that if Narendra Modi says even a word about or against Adani, Adani will topple BJP's government in a minute, that is, it will be discredited and dismantled. If it is Adani who has fully borne the election expenses and Reliance has completely organized the rigging of the voting machines, then all the MPs of BJP, including Narendra Modi, belong to Adani and Reliance and are owned by them, their property. If so, why can't they discredit or dismantle this government! In any case, Narendra Modi has not said a word till now against or about Adani. What the former governor said is so true!!
What the former Governor revealed in this interview with Karan Thapar of The Wire was that the appointment of the President, who is the first citizen, is not done now without the clearance of the office of the Prime Minister, who is only the second citizen, that this foremost authority of the country is not even allowed to meet anyone without the permission of the Prime Minister and is just a puppet of the Prime Minister. The cold reactions among them indicate that the other politicians in the other parties in today's India are walking around without the ability and consciousness to even understand that this is a political crisis for the country.
He was the governor of the states of Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Goa and Meghalaya for five years from 2017 to 2022 after BJP coming to rule. Between 1980 and 2012, he was a Rajya Sabha member from Uttar Pradesh, a Lok Sabha member and the National Vice President of the BJP. Were also an MLA of the Farmers’ Party of Chowdhari Charan Singh and the general secretary of Lok Dal. He is a BSc and LLB graduate. Why should those who believe the words of Narendra Modi, who is comparatively lower, not believe his words?
Although the full version of this news video in Hindi and partly in English is at hand, the other serious issues dealt with in that interview are not intended to be gone into here, although every citizen should discuss them. It is better for them to remember that if you close your eyes, the realities in front of your eyes will not disappear!
