When the British Government's intelligence report that the Gujarat riots were a Muslim genocide perpetrated by Narendra Modi came out as a BBC documentary, the centre-ruling party BJP, their serf party the Marxist Party which is now limited to Kerala, and the Hindu corporates behind the present rule Adani and Reliance, became isolated in the world. And the hunt and the run began across the country and the world. Ultimately it resulted in BJP's overall defeat and loss of majority seats in the 2024 parliamentary elections, making the government wretchedly dependent on other minor parties and remaining unstable in a state of miserable disarray from day-to-day. There was even a situation where the BJP had to accuse Israel of interfering against BJP in this election. So now what when the secret intelligence report made by the American government comes out as a movie?

Terrorizing and shocking the Indian Judiciary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, dozens of organizations of the Bharatiya Janata Party in India and abroad, the Hindu Indian corporates Reliance and Adani, and people like Chief Ministers Pinarayi Vijayan in Kerala, Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi, Amarinder Singh in Punjab and Ghulam Nabi Asad in Kashmir hanging in power holding on to the tail of the central BJP, relegating them to their destined places in world history, and trembling the world, the British Broadcasting Corporation which is the nightmare of Prime Ministers and Presidents from Churchill to Trump to Modi to Putin and to Boris Johnson, released worldwide in January 2023, ahead of India's Republic Day, their documentary video ‘India: The Modi Question’, made after a two year research based on the British Government's Secret Intelligence Report on the Gujarat Mutiny, which describes Narendra Modi's role in that Muslim genocide and released with it the abundant evidence (which were abundant even then!), eyewitness statements and victims’ statements in the Gujarat Hindu extremists-led racial riots, the three-day Hindu extremist event in Gujarat in India in February 2002, pre-meditated and organized at the behest and planning of the then Gujarat BJP Chief Minister Narendra Modi, in which 1926 people including 790 Muslims and 254 Hindus were killed, 223 people missing, 2500 people wounded, and hundreds of women and children were raped and almost murdered- a genocide that a chief judge in the Supreme Court of India shook the world by saying there was no evidence and dismissing it, despite the abundance of evidence and plentiness of witnesses’ and victims’ statements which were easily available in the field even to the American and British Intelligence.

With the release of this video, from Narendra Modi in Delhi to the son of A. K. Antony in Kerala, a young man who had been secretly hiding in the top of the Indian National Congress as a sleeper warrior of the BJP, and even Sashi Tharoor, who remains in Congress as a political refugee until he reaches the BJP, knowing well the world knows everything now, immediately rose up shaking their manes and condemned the BBC’s video, saying that Narendra Modi’s past cruelties coming out is an insult to India and demanded that this ‘outrageous disgrace’ be banned throughout the world.

Twitter and YouTube, which make a good income out of India condescended, have stopped showing it in India for the time being- that is, until any judgment comes from the international court or any courts of the American state in which they are registered, and they continue to show it to the world except in India too. Face Book which has bigger revenue than the other two in India is wagging its tail to ban it in India even while acting the democratically free white man abroad, in places outside India, lest being prosecuted or even banned for violating the freedom of press there. Today on India's Republic Day, the whole world sees it, except India, people shout, cry, clamour, angrily demand that Narendra Modi's entry into their country should be banned, and proclaim that Modi has the same genocide last pit reserved for Putin and Trump, and India's Narendra Modi-led Republic Day celebrations in Delhi go on amid shame for the person leading it. None of them has been able to explain to the world how, and why, Narendra Modi's actions outside the peripheries of law are India's actions or their coming out is a disgrace to India.

Narendra Modi did not say anything about this video, instead banned it using draconian emergency laws. What is the emergency and what is the harm for the country, except for Modi, because of the exposure in this video? Even if there is harm, let the truth prevail! Can India, which has written wherever there is a board or a wall including in courts that the Truth Alone Will Triumph (‘Satyam Eva Jayate!’) turn her face away from truth? Prominent foreign media were also asked to ban it. India's foreign affairs department condemned the BBC's video as false propaganda.

The Department of Foreign Affairs of the United States Government responded that it does not know anything about the BBC's video, and that it has a good relationship with the Government of India with 'emphasis on freedom of the press'. Accurate, sharp, knife-edged words of course! Doesn't it also mean that there will be no good relationship if there is no emphasis on the freedom of the media in India, including for the BBC-India? The America, which banned the entry of Narendra Modi into the United States stating because he led communal riots in Gujarat and killed people, and denied him visa through its State Department for many years, that is, until he got hold of a diplomatic passport as the Prime Minister of India- something which even Britain did not do!

The anger of the top leaders and state ministers of the Marxist Party in Kerala are fuming with the disappointment of not being able to make money through their dreamed up project Kerala Rail or the K-Rail as it is known now and become infamous! It never went beyond the drawing board. Let the Vande Bharat train of the Central Government and the Indian Railways run at any speed, let it run high speed or slow, what is it to them? They want to construct their own railway lines, import their own trains from Japan (all for commissions!), and operate their own rails so that they can make their own money and traffick their own drugs as much as they want at their own liberty.

If you take a look at the names of those who abuse the central government’s Vande Bharat train, you will know who are eagerly waiting for the K-Rail money! A train is a train anyway: is it useful for Kerala, is it doing any harm to the people of Kerala? Whether BJP’s Narendra Modi gave it or whoever gave it, it is one what Kerala needs, isn't it? In fact, it is not Narendra Modi's but the Indian Railways’ gift to the people of Kerala. Isn't it the Indian Railway that has run and is still running all the trains in the history of Kerala? Isn't it the soreness and hurt of the shattering of the Marxist leader and chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan's longing for becoming a railway king in his own right that comes out through the lamentation and greedy moans of these money-grubbers against the newly introduced and popular Vande Bharat trains of the Indian Railways in Kerala?

As far as the common people of Kerala are concerned, what they want is not faster and more comfortable trains, but more number of trains. And they need a lot of them. It is the crowded journey of common people in trains that has to be avoided, but unfortunately there is no one there to demand it. As for leaders, they look for comfort and speed in trains. That's why they covet such trains and demand them and they get them too from other politicians like them at the centre. Their needs and the needs of the people are not compatible.

A leader of the centre-ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP, and a former MD of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, Mr. E. Sreedharan, an expert railway engineer himself who proposed these high speed trains in the beginning, said in the current condition of the railways in Kerala, after the necessary construction and modification works in the railway lines are over, it will take at least 10 years for trains to run at a speed of more than 80 km per hour, and that, therefore, engaging in Kerala these super trains which are made at a high cost to run at speeds of 180 km/h and above is foolishness. And what he says is right too. But the common people of Kerala have not asked for such high-speed trains to run in Kerala. It was the leaders who demanded them. If it is not for making money by constructing rails, why don’t they go by plane instead of in trains as there is not much cost difference? They just need to tell only their needs, not the people’s needs. If the people want high-speed trains, the people will begin to demand them which they have not! If they demand, then we can think about creating them. The people also are people like you, they too think a little ahead of time like you say you do, you ignorant senseless money greedy....!

Today, the Hindu-activist Bharayiya Janata Party BJP and the Election Commission of India are the only protectors of electronic voting machines in India. It is such a shameless war that these two have been waging against the world to retain it and BJP's rule in India. The nation is waiting to see if the judiciary will also join this run. They are even afraid to conduct a national referendum to see if these machines have the support of the people of India apart from these two! What is their right and ambition over those of the people?

When the world boycotts it and stops using it, they do not let go of it and hug it like a concubine, because turning away from history they have realized how useful it is for the instigation of a corporate rule in India like the erstwhile East India Company which ruled India even ruling over and controlling the British Government which controlled more and far powerful countries than the modern India, and for the formation of a pure Hindu Nation by toppling and overthrowing the secular republican democratic constitution of India. They have proved it before the world and before the people of India. After the electronic voting machines removing ballot papers from India, did anything else come up except the formation of Hindu Rashtra and corporate governance?

With one part of one lakh volume of paper used by BJP for printing its election posters, all the ballot paper for India could be printed. That's why the BJP’s and the Election Commission’s reiteration that they want ballot paper to be removed and electronic voting machines retained to protect the forests which are the source of wood which is the raw material for making the paper to print ballot papers and to avoid paper pollution only denotes the story of the secret marriage between the two. Considering India is the largest democracy in the world and where the greatest number of people votes in an election, when the lifespan of the millions of electronic voting machines that are manufactured every year expires- which is no more than two elections!- is it not a mountain of electronic waste going to reach the whole country? Is it reusable? Is there recycling? Which is more irreversibly polluting- the electronic voting machines or the ballot paper? Which needs the spending of precious foreign money reserves for importing expensive components? The Election Commission is floundering Hindu Rashtra without answer to any of these!

Then there remains only the cost of conducting the election through ballot paper and the time to count it. How many weeks did the Election Commission drag out the election period from 2024 April 19 to June 4 for facilitating the BJP Prime Minister and Reliance Representative Narendra Modi to campaign everywhere in India? Then why speak of the time for counting all these ballot papers? Isn't it the cost that then remains? How many lakh ballot papers can be printed at the cost of a single electronic voting machine? Will someone look at the cost of setting up a government that will have the authority to take lakhs of crores of rupees from the public purse and spend it?

What difference is there between the head-broken Kerala State Loka Ayukta and the Central Election Commission? Aren't both reflecting the opinions and wishes of those who subjugated them and backing them by ignoring some of the existing laws without fully understanding any laws and only pointing out a few others of the existing laws?

If it was Pinarayi Vijayan who broke the first one in Kerala, was it not his political partner Narendra Modi who broke second one at the Centre? Weren’t both for being in power and not get caught in corruption? Were both works the honest men do? Aren't both of them with the same political moves and life goals? Both with the help of corporates carried out coups in their own parties, got into government, live for corporates, and while in government pour all the public money they control into corporates without any dignity and self-esteem of politicians, and it they call it development!

The party of the one at the centre collects money through bonds from the big money launderers of the country through banks, and the party of the one at the state collects black money through direct corruption and smuggling, and also launders corruption money and bribes through banks.

The President of the country after a heated and heavy political brawl between the State Governor and the Chief Minister of Kerala ratifying and endorsing the amendment of law passed by the Kerala Legislative Assembly led as the Assembly Leader by the Chief Minister and pseudo-Marxist leader Pinarayi Vijayan who already faces cases against him in the head-broken Anti-Corruption Judicial Body the Kerala Lok Ayukta to the effect that even if they find him and them guilty of corruption and issues a verdict none of the Chief Minister himself and his Cabinet Ministers need immediately resign as earlier they had to but whether he or they need resign shall be decided on his or their appeal by the State Legislative Assembly majority-orchestrated by him and themselves, was a severe blow and setback to the already picking up anti-corruption movements in the state as well as in the country. The Centre has not come up with the much publicized comprehensive anti-corruption Law the Lok Pal either.

Similarly, after invalidating five or six unimportant actions/decisions/legislations by the central government and deluding people that everything is fair in the running of this country, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court very lightly and unconscientiously upholding the very important and significant new central law amendment that as against the country’s long-standing policy and decision hitherto that the Central Election Commissioners shall be selected and appointed from a panel jointly by the Judiciary’s representative the Chief Justice, the Legislature’s representative the Opposition Leader in the Parliament, and the Executive’s representative the Prime Minister of the country, from hence now forth shall be decided jointly by a committee consisting of the Legislature’s representative the Opposition Leader and two Executive’s representatives the Prime Minister and the Home Minister, with no representative at all from the Judiciary, only taught the people that it was for upholding the latter smoothly and convincingly that the invalidation of the former were undertaken, and that the amendment in the selection process of the Central Election Commissioners was solely for the purpose of easing electoral irregularities and ensuring the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party’s continuance in rule. Why is the judiciary bending so much, apparently stooping before the Executive, in front of the people? The Supreme Court reasoned (ridiculously and dishonestly) that there was no time to look at the law or current practices as the elections were too near! Who has no time for law- the Judiciary or the Executive? How many times in the past has the Judiciary said law cannot be looked at because there’s no time?

Kerala's Students’ Federation of India is a blood perversion that grew out of a disruptive young generation’s obsession for their once-leader and the present Kerala Chief Minister Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan. This situation of a retinue of young rowdies’ blind belief and subservience to him is spreading to other states in India, he being a Central Committee and Polit Bureau member of the once-revered Communist Party of India (Marxist). A student of Pookkottu Government Veterinary Professional College and University in Kalpetta, Wayanad was beaten for three continuous days to death with belts and metal implements without giving him food or water and always keeping him in chains by the assassins of SFI. Every day, every minute, as happened in West Bengal where they lost rule after a continuous ruling of thirty years, the SFI members and associated outside thugs under this wayward leader Pinarayi Vijayan's spell, instruction and training, are carrying out his private vendettas and revenges against those who oppose his and his family’s money-amassing schemes as and when he wishes. It is just that the people of Kerala clearly not identifies and understands well this problem facing them and has begun to affect their lives since 2016 when he came to power. Regardless of gender, the members of the state committee of the SFI should be arrested and detained and charged for the crimes they committed in Kerala in educational institutions and on students. Instead, letting them loose like now is a public danger to the society of Kerala.

The SFI leadership who are part of the ruling Marxist Party should be punished for what their ranks did in almost all colleges and universities in Kerala. When there is a bandh, hartal or a strike in the state, when public properties are destroyed by those who participate in them, then why else are the police taking cases against the opposition party leaders who called for that bandh, hartal or strike if they do not register similar cases against those who are in power? Isn't that so according to the condition that whoever calls for a strike should also be responsible for the violence during that strike? Even if there is no strike, if there is violence involving a person, the name or the flag of an organization, isn't it the leader of that organization who should be arrested and prosecuted for that violence? Of course a leadership is responsible for the disasters and crimes resulting from their decisions.

This gang’s spiritual leader Pinarayi Vijayan, to protect his brigade’s unquestioned and sovereign rule in colleges and universities and to ensure suppression of his political opponents in his own party, in other parties and outside, assembled his retinue of MLAs in the Kerala Legislative Assembly and passed a Bill, removing the Governor of the State from the Constitutional position of the Chancellor of all Universities in Kerala and placing himself there instead, in essence retaining the rule of his retinue of student and teacher goons in colleges and universities. The President of India has not yet given her signature to this bill but will, prompted by the pact between the state-ruling Marxist Party and the centre-ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in their attempt to sabotage the Constitution of India and found a Theo-corporate Hindu Nation.

It was because like the Kerala Police who went astray for a Home and Chief Minister who lost the respect of other political leaders in the country due to his continuous corruption and violence and his obsession for making money and remaining in position to make more money the West Bengal Police did not register cases against the ruling Marxist Party factions and student leaders for their crimes that this party- and the Police- lost its rule there and they and their children were picked, kicked and beaten to incapacitation or even to death in streets by people led by Miss. Mamata Banerji’s Thrinamool Congress Party and the Marxist Party was wiped out.

Today in history this subjugation and liquidation of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) in their once-stronghold West Bengal is known as Mamata Banerji’s and Trinamool Congress’ atrocities. Mamata Banerji and the Trinamool Congress were brought to power by people as a compliment and appreciation for their incessant violence against the so-called Marxists and were allowed to continue in that power for the Marxists never again to raise their heads in West Bengal. What now happens in Kerala is an exact replication of this process, at least a preface to it, at the end of which, people hope, the Marxist Party would be wiped out clean in Kerala too. Only, there’s no Mamata Banerji in Kerala, and only the first part of this process has been completed, that part being the leaders, committeemen and criminal goons of the Kerala SFI losing their identity, credibility and cover as a student organization, having been charged with cases even for assaulting the governor of the state besides quite a number of murder cases, and being re-identified in Kerala as a murderous blood-squad of that leader in power.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who violated all prohibitions and protocols regarding official trips in many of his official trips like the New Kerala Yatra held at the end of 2023 during which he took up the training of his SFI in his own lines himself by bringing them together with the police as enforcers to beat protesting people along his way. This was exactly what his counterparts did in West Bengal. This was not a kind of training that could be given to those outside his official entourage but he did it, raising enough public indignation to one day throw him out of power and wipe out his party like people did in West Bengal.

As a result of a number of recent severe central investigations besides not a few of court chastisements, the traditional killing squads of the Marxist Party and its leaders like him stopped killing for their leaders, and in 2023 began to yell about the who-what-and-when of their previous killings carried in places like Kannur for their leaders. So this party and its this leader suddenly felt an acute shortage of killer squads. So it was a hasty move on their part to train the unknowing young SFI and raise a new assassination squad. It worked. In the aura of safety and security of the party-police protection, within a few weeks, they went to the extreme and all became murderers. That was what was demonstrated at Pookottu Animal University in Wayanadu. Through this, Kerala understood that Pinarayi Vijayan, who was the then party secretary, was also the one who ordered the brutal killing of T. P. Chandrasekaran, the once-rebel leader of the Marxist Party in Vadakara, Kerala. Shall this blood-devil be allowed to continue…?

Recent electoral experiences in India proved that India’s EVMs help only the Bharatiya Janatha Party and its Hindu Theo Corporatocracy. It’s now proved beyond doubt that without electronic voting machines there would have been no BJP victories and BJP governments. Now the Election Commission of India becomes angry whenever and wherever people and political parties demand re-introduction of ballot papers in stead. Why should they become angry when people demand an electoral process which they feel have served them well through decades?

This article was written on 21 May 2019 when India was going through a Parliament election and waited five years before publishing to see if the allegations against the BJP of manipulating electronic voting machines for victory would be disproved which it was not. Every election since then- from State Assembly Elections to the local Self-Government Body elections only proved that the centre-ruling Bharatiya Janata Party is more widely using EVM manipulations for election victories and also allowing this concession to be used by their Hindu Raashtra Allies like the Marxist Party in states like Kerala.

Even though the electoral process and the democracy in India is older than any but those in the USA, it is still not even considered a full democracy like Norway, Iceland, Sweden, New Zealand, Denmark, Canada, Ireland, Australia, Switzerland and Finland.

Why is India not included anywhere in this list of nineteen countries considered and accepted as with a full democracy? Other that the rigged electoral processes and accompanying corruption, what prevented India from emerging as a country with full democracy?

The earlier emergency in India in 1975 which reverted back to democracy in 1977 was imposed by a political party which was the Indian National Congress. The present undeclared emergency in India since 2019 was imposed by corporate industrialists and businessmen who operate through a Hindu political party which is the Bharatiya Janata Party. Therefore, the reverting back to democracy won’t be as easy as earlier but it sure is possible. Let us assume that no corporate company in India is or was as rich, powerful, influential and universally spread as Union Carbide was. When the Bhopal genocide happened, government practically did nothing against this company but the ordinary people of India, prompted of cource by the intellectually independent and the impartial in India, decided to boycott their Eveready batteries which were simply the best in India. Soon the boycott turned to their other products including even torches. Soon there was no one to buy Union Carbide products in India in spite of the government of India firmly standing behind this company.

Article Title Image 2 By James Guerrero. Graphics: Adobe SP.

Because their products remained unsold in stores, the owners of these stores told the company’s sales vans that they could not stock anymore and this happened throughout India- in every city, town and village. In some places angry people even pulled the stock out of stores and burned them as a protest against Union Carbide. Union Carbide finally collapsed and became quite willing to come to terms with people in spite of the government compelling them not to succumb to people. This situation is now to repeat in India. People today understand well that the pro-Hinduist Reliance Industries is behind the suppression of people’s rights in India as they are the sole beneficiaries to almost all financial regulations the government brings about affecting the lives of the common people of India. Also almost all government contracts in petroleum, communications, railways and defense go to them. People need no more evidence.

If the people of India decide to boycott every Reliance product including their grocery and vegetable stores, petrol and diesel, and their communication network Geo, will this corporate survive with only BJP members and sympathizers buying their products? There are many ways for people to bring down corporate companies if and when they decide to take action. And it is an answer the corporate companies understand well, that if they want to rule they can rule but they cannot sell, forcing them to pull out of tacit arrangements behind government against people. People also know that their corporate empire exists out of huge bank loans. So, they want to sell, not rule, anyway.

Will Kashmir Move help India secure UN Security Council membership, or close that half-open door for ever?

India has long been vying for a permanent membership in the UN Security Council to sit with America, Britain, France, China and Russia. India’s decades-long struggle for securing this coveted position very nearly came to fruition recently but for not getting enough votes. There was then an atmosphere of India winning this position in her next try.

This was before the Kashmir issue became bold headlines in the world’s media again and became a hot topic for discussion in world capitals and international forums in August 2019. It was reported that the India government under the Hindu regime of Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP met in parliament for a very brief session and using the majority of seats in parliament which is already under fire for the first time in India for massive election rigging and voting machine manipulation, passed a bill taking away the special status given to Jammu & Kashmir in 1947 at the time when India gained independence from the British, thus unilaterally resolving within a few minutes without discussion the most controversial issue between India and Pakistan which the world has been discussing for decades.

Not only was the twin state of Jammu & Kashmir split into two separate states making the former secular twin state into a Hindu-dominating Jammu and a Muslim-dominating Kashmir- a move no democratic and secular Indian leader till now did not dare take- but the people of Kashmir including their former Chief Ministers and leaders were also put in prisons and a curfew and news and communication blackout declared. Now, after this bifurcation of India-possessed Jammu and Kashmir into two and the promised re-possession of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir soon, will this move ensure India’s entry into the UN Security Council, or close this already half-open door for ever?

We know the UN Security Council was formed after the Second World War. U.S., U.K., Russia, France and China were the five permanent members then and they are still now. It must also be remembered that why they were the only five permanent members in the Security Council was because these five countries were never part of the Hitler’s or Mussolini’s or Hirohito’s move to divide the world between them and were the countries which helped stop the dividing of the world by Germany, Italy and Japan. It is to be remembered here that no attempts till now by Italy, Germany and Japan to enter the Security Council as permanent members were successful. It looks like an unwritten law that no fascist, autocratic, theocratic or non-secular country shall be admitted into the UN Security Council as permanent members which becomes significant in the matter of India’s attempts to enter the coveted council as a permanent member. India now qualifies in all these respects for permanently being kept out, it looks.

The permanent membership in the Security Council has not always been without changes in representation. The China which was given a permanent membership was the Kuomintang China under Chiang Kai-shek which became extinct in 1949 following the Chinese Communist Revolution when the People’s Republic of China was established. Chiang Kai-shek who escaped to Formosa held on to the permanent membership for a time but then in …. it went to the Communist China. So, we cannot say that there were not changes in the permanent membership in the UN Security Council though there were not additions. When the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics split into several states also this question of who will represent Russia in the Security Council arose.

So many countries in the world have state flags and national flags. State flags and national flags are all government flags. It is better to call them civil flags and national flags. Civil flags can be modified versions of the national flag, or an entirely different one reflecting the purpose and principles of the sub-national division or agency concerned. Civil flags will have restrictions on use as imposed by the law or custom of the country.

In India, a state flag means an official flag of any of the individual states or territorial sub-divisions that make up the nation. It is preferable to call them ‘the State Flag of Kerala, the State Flag of Nagaland, etc., etc., to avoid confusion with the term the National Flag of India. It’s because a state can mean a sub-national division or the entire nation, in general terms. And the army, navy and the air force in India also have theirs.

The people of India don’t understand why states can’t have their own flags. This confusion was caused by acrimonious slogans, posters, interviews and media reports thrown in by pseudo patriots who actually want to create confusion and murk in the muddy waters. India is a country of heterogeneous people with their own states, cultures and languages which they may want to identify through flags, symbols or emblems. They will want to identify themselves as a people with specific cultures, customs or languages. And at the same time they will want to identify themselves as citizens of a united country also. So they have their state flags as well as a national flag. There was no question of not allowing them to do so until now. And till now, no communal nationalists were ruling India too. That is the change which started this move to take away the state flags. There is scope for arousing suspicion, sensationalism and hatred among these people by taking away their state flags which would serve as excellent food for the survival of religious nationalist elements.

3

State flags do not affect the unity of India anyway. State flags represent their state as a cultural, ethnic or language group and their national flag represents their political and geographical entity as a country. Why should a thing which posed no danger till now made to become so important a topic for serious discussion and legislation? When heterogeneous things are crushed, pulped and tried to be amalgamated into something homogeneous, they loose their properties and become no more those things which they were. Besides, they may even explode in the process. It is when a right thing is tried to be made more right that it goes wrong. We have read that ‘a society with no snobbery is like a dog with no fleas: it goes comatose’. Here it’s like throwing a stone to that dog which has gone comatose to make it do something for a while, meanwhile! Probably, to make it remain active till the next elections! It’s a perfectly characteristic move by the pure Indian snobs!

There were state flags in India from 1947 to 2019- that means, for 72 years. There was no problem. The problem was BJP came into power in 2019 for the second time. Till then no one talked about state flags posing any dangers to the nations’ unity or security, except those BJP leaders who could not talk about anything else that affects the real life of the people of the country. In 2019, BJP followers and worshipers and beneficiaries began this meaningless chorus and also joined their ranks, to shout that the state flags pose a danger to the unity of the country. What danger? They do not have any reasonable answer, except that they are followers and beneficiaries of the ruling party and so have to repeat just what their leaders say, regardless of if it is logical or not or reasonable or not. Even against their own logic and reason they are burdened with the unglittering job of defending the ruling party in its move to take way the state flags. Look how quick the discussion on the legacy and legality of state flags while holding a national flag, a subject the ruling party does not want people to discuss at all, was tried to be deviated to some CIA presence in India by paid or unpaid campaigners! CIA has been in India for decades since its inception and the present Indian ruling party has all their blessings. They were the first to stand with the ruling party of India when they took away the first state flag. Then, who would be the biggest CIA spy now in India? Do not try to foolishly and idiotically reiterate to learnèd and responsive group members that state flags are going to divide India. Did India get divided during the past 72 years due to state flags?

How many flags does the USA have? The USA has 50 states and 50 state flags- the earliest one from 1795, and one national flag from 1777 with variations! In addition, the several branches of the United States Armed Forces have their individual flags, and within each branch various flags for various occasions. And there are the ships, army bases, military camps and military academies which also have their own flags. Why this many flags? Its legacy, kept alive and proud by a proud people. Did the USA split on account of this ocean of flags during the 242 years of its existence, and its federal democracy collapse? Only utter fools will think the people of America are holding 51 flags at the same time! Any American civilian holds only two flags on any given occasion- that of his state and that of his nation. The case is exactly similar in India. Any Indian civilian holds only two flags, not a sea of flags, if there is a state flag. Here the only difference is there is neither a 242 years’ steady and steadfast democracy nor 50 states in the federal system. Which fool is going to guarantee that India’s democracy is going to hold steady and steadfast for 242 years with only half the states? Even before its 77 years with half the states, India’s federal democracy is withering. Taking state flags away is the sign. Whether it’s going to be a Mercantile Hindu Corporate Autocracy or a Religious Theocracy is another question. Or it may even be a Corporatotheocracy.

6

Autonomy for states in almost all portfolios of administration with state budgets, state laws and state rules but joined at the Centre for Defense is the very essential to the federal system of government. 1947 was the 0-mile stone for India in federalism, and since then the centre has been robbing states of its portfolios of administration, its rights and its privileges one by one for the past 77 years, weakening the federal strength of the nation. Everything that is born has an inherent tendency to also die from that moment onwards, unless helped keep strong and healthy. Unfortunately, that is not the state with federalism in India. States are robbed steadily of authority and power which accumulate at the centre, the very reverse process of what the constitution of India envisaged. An all-powerful state with unlimited and unquestioned powers eventually becomes an enemy of the state in itself in its true sense as the world’s history proves.
