This is what happens in Kerala when those in government who know only barbering go after governing. After their robbery, theft and continuous looting, the state government has found it has no money to pay the employees! The Chief Minister is not educated in administration, and the Finance Minister is not knowledgeable in financial management. If you ask in the cabinet that is called a Marxist, who has gained expertise in what, you will see it’s no one and it’s. No one has ever seen, heard or experienced anything in the name of governance in Kerala other than the formation of a cabinet by a number of half-learnèd men and totally-ignorant men who took a single vow to help the Chief Minister Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan to victorious corruption and transcended party seniority that way to be favored with these posts. As a result, what happens where there is no governance happened: the treasury collapsed.
The treasury collapsed not because of lack of money coming to the exchequer, but under the leadership of nineteen ministers and the Chief Minister, the whole thing was continuously taken away. So the Treasury became a blank. It is the first time in the history of independent Kerala that the government has not been able to pay salaries to the employees on March 1st, 2nd and 3rd of March 2024. If it was asked whether it was like this before Kerala became independent, it was a question of the king's conscience; if he could not pay the salary then, the king would have gone and committed suicide, or else he would have taken the queen's necklace and pledged it. It has never happened. (It was said here of those who know only barbering- cheraykkal in Malayalam- because of their lack of dignity, and not to insult that profession of essential services!). Today, government employees, their families and others who depend on them are asking if the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, the Finance Minister Balagopalan and the ruling Left Democratic Front Leader E. P. Jayarajan couldn’t go suiciding as those kings would have done in their place. (Don't hang at the Secretariate!).
Although the salaries of all government departments have stopped, to tell the truth, the people are the most happy for it stopping for the police also. Like they were sired by and are the descendents of Pinarayi Vijayan, they provided protection for all his criminal activities and behaved, acted and reacted in an uncivil manner similar to him. Because of that, the people are more than happy that their salaries have stopped. If they have the courage they preen before the people, let them go protest or shout slogans in front of the Chief Minister's house without looking at the law! If there is no law for them to keep as they demonstrate, there is no law either to sue and dismiss them from service too for it!
It is now understood from the no-steps able to be taken against this unprecedented and authorities-made Kerala’s financial crisis and invariable spectacular collapse that just like during the freedom struggle of India when the people boycotted everything British and blocked their revenue, if without anyone's incitement the people stay away for a month from remitting what are due to government, if they do not take lottery tickets for a month, and if they do not go to the State Beverages Corporation Shops to buy liquor, then these Chief Ministers and Finance Ministers and their officials will swallow water, if the people can extend it to three months then they will breathe their Chakra Swaasa- their frantic breath, and if they could continue it to a little more, make these sovereigns go commit suicide. Don’t make people do it. The good old days of borrowing and spending at wish by politically forcing and bribing the Central government do it for them is over, i.e., the Central Government borrowing and they spending!
They in government told the people that it was not because they took money in every way they could from the treasury that the state had to steal from the salaries of its employees but because they did not get the thousands of crores of rupees due from the Central Government. If that is the case, then is it the people who are to take action or turn to struggle against the Centre? Who are being paid for it- the people or those in the government? Why are they even saying this to the people of Kerala? The people of Kerala have never had a hand in the making of the BJP government at the Centre. They never have even elected a single BJP MP from Kerala. And all they have elected to the Parliament are nineteen Congress MPs. How are these people or those MPs responsible for the government at the Centre denying any funds due for Kerala, if it’s actually due, which the Central Finance Minister with the help of figures says it’s not? Then why are you telling this to the people of Kerala as if it is they who are responsible for the Kerala Treasury’s collapse?
The Marxist parties have fought so much everywhere in the world for so many causes. Why don't they go and protest against the Center in Delhi or Trivandrum? If at the age of 78, a crippled chief minister, who has reached the point where he is taking elevators at home and in buses to ascend steps and descend, and a number of officials and ministers who are drooling at the sight of the government TA for travel, accompanies him, gather in Delhi with a one-minute speeches and picture-taking, will it be a strike or struggle against the Centre?
In order to pollute the Indian Parliament like septic canals, such ruling co-conspirators and leaders in Kerala’s Marxist Party as Panniyan Raveendran, Thomas Issac and K. K. Shailaja have come forward demanding that they may be made to win all the twenty seats from Kerala to the Parliament. From It would appear from their election advertisements and speeches that it was not them who took away all the money from the treasury of Kerala, and that it is someone else who runs the Kerala administration!
You may ask why the finance minister Balagopalan was asked to go and commit suicide. At the beginning of this article, it was mentioned on which dates of each month before the advent of Pinarayi Vijayan and Balagopalan as ministers in Kerala the government employees were getting their salaries for the past seventy-four years and due to the collapse of the treasury they are not getting them since March 2024. Yet this Balagopalan took Five lakh rupees from this same depleted treasury on the pretext of giving a note of thanks for preparing the state budget at the end of February 2024 gave a banquet dinner to more than Seven hundred and fifty employees in the Finance, Taxation, GST and Government Press Departments of the government on March 4, 2024 at the Government Guest House, Thycaud, Trivandrum. You tell whether he should be beaten or told to go commit suicide...!
